How does GoOrtho work?

We make it simple. Once you’ve established a partnership with GoOrtho, you can use the website, or a QR code to easily refer patients to us. You’ll enter patient, insurance, identity, symptom, and demographic information. At the end of the referral process the patient and your facility will be able to schedule their initial consultation right then and there. GoOrtho will take it from here and provide any follow up information requested by your facility.

What types of musculoskeletal conditions do you treat?

GoOrtho treats all appropriate orthopedic conditions with at-home conservative treatments. GoOrtho will refer you to local professionals if physical examination, imaging or invasive treatment is suspected to provide better outcomes.

Do patients have the same care team members throughout treatment?

GoOrtho establishes a care team for each patient. Unless there is a change in providers working with/at GoOrtho, patients see a consistent, familiar faces, at each appointment.

What type of insurance does GoOrtho accept?

While GoOrtho is hyper-focused on improving access to care to Medicaid beneficiaries, we are able to accept Medicare and most private insurances.

Who is part of a patient's care team?

Patients may see an orthopedic physician, surgeon, nurse practicioner or physican assistant, in addition to a physical therapist and physical therapy assistant, and health coach. A patient’s treatment plan is completely individualized to their specific needs which means they may see all or a few of our specialists.

Do I need to have a local orthopedic surgeon as well?

No. If at any point it is determined you would benefit from an in-person visit, we have a network of orthopedic surgeons and professionals we can refer you to.

Do we need to establish an official partnership with GoOrtho?

While an official partnership is not needed, we find that the consistency is process helps the practice and patient overcome any possible obstacles. We personalize our relationship with each provider/facility. So, establishes a clear set of expectations helps eliminate gaps in care and communication shortfalls.

What happens if a patient needs surgery or other interventions?

GoOrtho has a network of Orthopedic Surgeons and professionals that can see patients in person if/when the need arises. GoOrtho can make a referral out to our network, or a referral back to you if the partnership expectations are established that way.

Is a patient's data private?

Absolutely! GoOrtho is HIPAA compliant, and we take our patients’ privacy very seriously.

What is Health Coaching?

GoOrtho utilizes trained and certified health coaches to facilitate our whole body health and root cause medicine approach. These professionals will work with patients to make small changes in their diet and physical activity to treat their MSK condition at its core. This approach provides a more comprehensive and consistent approach to muscle and joint health.
